    There are few things more heartbreaking than finding out an animal is being neglected or abused. Furthermore, there are also instances when some pets become a major nuisance and/or you are concerned about your family’s welfare with regard to a certain animal. In both cases, it is essential that the proper authorities are contacted to prevent further harm or damage.

    If you believe an animal is an endangerment to you or your family, please contact your local Humane Society immediately.

    An excellent resource for animal cruelty concerns is The American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, whose website includes state-by-state details regarding investigations of animal cruelty. You may find this information at:
