Southeast Volusia Humane Society would like to thank Advanced Heat and Air for their generosity and hard work. In July 2009, Advanced Heat and Air donated and installed an air conditioning/heat unit in the new cat room/infirmary at the shelter, for FREE! A Big Meow Thank You Goes Out to Advanced Heat & Air!

Girl Scouts Troop 183 visited the shelter on Monday, March 30, 2009. The girls collected donations for the shelter. Susie, the shelter manager, did a little class with them and spoke about the shelter. They took a tour of the shelter cats and dogs that were available for adoption.

HAPPY 1st ANNIVERSARY! Congratulations for a great first year! SEVHS would like to extend an extra, special, thank you to radio station WSBB-AM 1230 in New Smyrna Beach, for their continued love and support of the shelter and animals.

Every year, Ropp’s Auto Electric has their annual Christmas party to benefit the SEVHS shelter.

On Friday, September 27, 2008, Sebastian was named King of the Court at his high school homecoming! Amongst his other achievements, he was specifically acknowledged for his community service hours at the shelter.

Sidney asked for gifts to give to the animals instead of gifts for herself. This pic shows what was given to her by her party guests to benefit and help the animals at SEVHS.
