My name is Guiness, but my friends call me Guinnie, and I am a neutered male Labrador Retriever and Chow Chow mix dog. I’ve been at the shelter since January 26, 2010 because my owner can no longer take care of me (see comments). I am a smart boy and already know my basic commands like sit, shake, and lay down. I walk well on a leash, like to be brushed a lot, and need a quiet home with no children or cats. After being used to a quiet home, the noisy hustle and bustle of the shelter is a little stressful for me. I am an excellent watchdog and very protective of my home environment.
