On Wednesday, January 14, 2009, Yappy Hour kicks-off the new year at Hooters in Daytona, from 5:30PM - 7:30PM. Leashed pets are very welcome! As always, we'll be collecting a $5 donation and contribution of pet food, towels, kitty litter, etc. Sophie had a wonderful holiday season but she is still distressed about the over-population of animals "on the inside" and even more upset about the growing number of animals on the streets fending for themselves. She is counting on your help in 2009. Our friends at Concerned Citizens for Animal Welfare along with the local shelters need our help. They all do an amazing job but the need is huge. Money is tight for everyone but it is important that we don't forget the voiceless and helpless animals. Your support of Sophie's Circle in 2008 was greatly appreciated and we have many exciting plans for 2009.
