Our Dream Came True Because of You!

Board president Vicky Fischer, mascot Luv, other board members, staff and friends are pictured at the 2007 Pet Festival when they celebrated the opening of the new kennels. Thanks to the support of generous donors, these kennels will house many dogs before they are ready for adoption. Having these kennels enables SEVHS to accept more dogs for adoption. As the plaque on the front of the building reads, “Our dream came true because of you.”

Our communities continue to grow, and with that growth comes more unwanted, abandoned and displaced dogs (and cats) that are taken to our shelter to be cared for each and every day.

We are currently taking in over 4,000 dogs and cats every year, and the numbers keep growing. The animals deserve a Humane Society that can house and care for them properly until they are adopted into new homes.
