Radosta Photography is hosting the Dog and Cat Days of Summer to benefit the Southeast Volusia Humane Society. Donate any size of premium dry dog or cat food (preferred brands: Science Diet, Purina, Iams) as your session fee and receive one 5×7 portrait of your pet as a thank you gift.

Board president Vicky Fischer, mascot Luv, other board members, staff and friends are pictured at the 2007 Pet Festival when they celebrated the opening of the new kennels. Thanks to the support of generous donors, these kennels will house many dogs before they are ready for adoption. Having these kennels enables SEVHS to accept more dogs for adoption. As the plaque on the front of the building reads, “Our dream came true because of you.”

The Halifax Veterinary Clinic of Port Orange let the dogs (and cats) out Saturday, June 14, during a fundraising event for the Southeast Volusia Humane Society. Activities included contests, games, adoption booths and agility demonstrations. Visitors were able to buy raffle tickets for prizes and enter their canines in a variety of contests.
